(7,888 posts)My "voice box" is running on empty today. One more call, and a thousand more if need be.

Imma take a break tomorrow. Have to.
My telephone's crazy-glued to my ear at this point
In the words of Matthew Wilder:
"Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride
I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh-no, I got to keep on movin'"

(18,672 posts)Sen. Alexander had a busy signal, which pissed me off. What part of "Representative" do you not understand? Thankfully there is email, but calling is better.

IOW, I called. I did.
I yam all-called-out.

(51,590 posts)Murphy said he has 100 amendments to read to run out the calendar until Oct 1st so I called to thank him. I was only able to speak/cry with 2 real staffers, the rest were busy signals, leave a mess., and one (Gardner) wouldn't even let you leave a message. Keep calling non stop until Sat!
