Is Trump trying to incite a civil war?

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet but it should be, so here it is.

Is Donald Trump trying to incite a civil war?

I say YES, he's trying to indeed.

How about you?

He wants to rally his racist freak base, but he also knows how small a minority they are

The Charlottesville Tiki Torchers basically got their asses kicked - exposed, charged, ridiculed, fired from their jobs, and sent back home to Mom's basement. But it didn't spark a 'war.'

Trump just seems to need to provoke, period.

In that we're in a war with no actual shots being fired. What's happening is Trump loves his social media. He will do anything to get likes on social media. That's why he's always on Twitter. He has his loyal lap dog fan base that will like anything he says. So he could literally say anything and instantly get 100,000 likes. That's why he keeps poking the hornets nest - he wants those likes. I'm thinking instead of being disgusted with what he says, we should just ignore him and like the competition.

It keeps us riled up about something besides Russia when things are getting hot.

Plus, the question to ask if you actually think he's trying to incite a civil war is: a civil war between just what factions?

He wants us focusing on each other, arguing and distracted while he does whatever it is he wants to do.
No one is looking.
If he starts a civil war he will go down in flames.
But, keeping us distracted, he is able to get away with things.
Watch this hand while the other is stealing.
