I constantly switch channels (even if just for a few min.), even with Rachel, when they are showing clips of him speaking. If it's just a few seconds, I can just barely stomach it. More than that, I get so mad at his total and willful ignorance and stupidity that I can't stand it and switch the channel.

when it's actually in San Antonio.

Look up Caribbean Sea in wikipedia.

Here's the first line...

"The Caribbean Sea (Spanish: Mar Caribe; French: Mer des Caraïbes Dutch: Caraïbische Zee) is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean in the tropics of the Western Hemisphere. It is bounded by Mexico and Central America to the west and south "

Yjere are a million moronic things to criticize him over. Criticizing stuff likes this hurts more than helps.

It raises a few remarks...

1- A very big ocean? Is there an ocean that is not big?

2 - Hurricane Maria must have been more devastating than what was reported...It is the first time I hear a hurricane has pushed an island from its original sea to throw it in the "middle of a very big ocean"...^

The dotard is a hopeless case. He can't even distinguish between an island and a golf ball.

It's about 1,000 miles from Miami, which is why there are cruises there from Port Everglades that only last a long weekend.

Also, most of it is in the Caribbean.

I mean, in his mind he probably can barely tell the difference between a Puerto Rican and a Mexican.

The ugliness of his rancid response to this tragedy is that it's all about dog whistling to his base.

In addition to the way out in the ocean stuff, The Donald did some belated twittering, pointing out that PR was already broken, badly in debt to Wall Street and "the banks," old grid already in terrible shape. USVI apparently don't exist even as bad real estate investments in his mind.

Texas & Florida are doing great but Puerto Rico, which was already suffering from broken infrastructure & massive debt, is in deep trouble..

...It's old electrical grid, which was in terrible shape, was devastated. Much of the Island was destroyed, with billions of dollars..

...owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with. Food, water and medical are top priorities - and doing well.

...the Caribbean Sea is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean, it's a subsection of the Atlantic. When you're in the Caribbean, you're in the Atlantic at the same time.

Trump still makes Puerto Rico sound much further away than it is, it's hardly in the middle of the Atlantic.

Unfortunately when it comes to having power restoration crews and other services drive in from other parts of the US, something that happens all the time to speed up recovery efforts in the continental US, 200 miles off shore is nearly as bad as 2000 in hampering assistance.
