I hate Trump for making this political!

I have always loved our National Anthem. I am the one at our yearly Super Bowl party that encourages everyone to stand in our local bar!
I love the song, I love the flyovers, and I love my Country!
Put me in the corner, but I am patriotic, and I won't apologize for it!
I will continue to proudly stand, and I will silently wish that everyone would join me. But if they don't I won't say a word! Nor will I judge them for not standing.
So Fuck You Donald Trump for making my standing a political statement!

7. The words of the anthem are set to an old English drinking song, "To Anacreon in Heaven"

The song extols the virtues of drinking wine. That could go a long way to explaining that melody because I think if I drank enough wine, I could hit far more of the notes, than I can when sober.
