From A Friend.....About The Flag, Military, National Anthem and Being Black

"I served my four years in the Air Force I love my country to death and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but that flag and the national anthem doesn't represent me (because) you're still treated like excuse my language a n***a.

I don't care how long you served in the military or if you fought for your country you Black and you always will be to the White man.

You don't walk around with I served my country for 20 or 30 years on your back to ID yourself so you still just the black man to them. I still get pulled over in my Cadillac at 2 am ET in the morning coming home from work because I'm black no other reason not speeding or breaking any laws.

So bottom line why should I respect something that does not respect me. And some military people say if it wasn't for the military I wouldn't be where I am -- You work for that, they didn't give it to you for free."

That's REAL TALK, Right There!!!
