My inclination would be to never ever support someone Trump supports, but Dear God in Heaven, the other choice is Roy Moore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or Ray as Trump called him.

(13,869 posts)The Dems will have a slight chance to beat him, and if not he may be more effective than anyone else on the national scene in driving independent voters away from the GOP with his proposal to make the New Testament the 28th amendment to the Constitution.

SCantiGOP
(13,869 posts)Wouldn't doubt if he would pursue it if he could. He has already said that our Constitution and laws are secondary to (his) interpretation of the Bible, so that wouldn't be much of a strerch.

(16,104 posts)if you're a Democrat who can crossover into the Republican runoff... ...might you help send Trump and the Republican Party a message?
And the real contest for senator is December 12th.
A lot can happen between now and then!

(6,926 posts)Moore or Strange? It just struck me that the name Strange really fits Moore, more.

(4,461 posts)...good. So it's a "who's less bad" analysis. Moore is more aligned with the traditional Trump supporter/tea party wing nut wing. Strange is with the party regulars. I'm not crossing over to vote (I have to be able to sleep at night), but I'm pulling for Moore because he might be easier to beat in December (he'll certainly have less $), and because -if he wins- he will likely cause some high level, bat-shit crazy dysfunction for McConnell et al to have to deal with.

(6,926 posts)and have voted in GOP primaries because there is hardly ever a Democratic one.
After the last year or so in politics, I am not sure I can ever do that again.
However, I know that I will never vote for someone who waves a gun around while making a speech. No matter how small that gun might be.
