Trump: Puerto Rico "billions of dollars in debt to Wall Street which, sadly, must be dealt with"

President Trump, facing mounting questions about his commitment to Puerto Rico’s recovery, took to Twitter Monday night, saying the U.S. territory is “in deep trouble,” in part because of problems that predated Hurricane Maria.

Trump said Puerto Rico was already suffering from “broken infrastructure,” including an old electrical grid, which he said was “devastated” by Hurricane Maria, as well as “massive debt.”

“Food, water and medical are top priorities — and doing well,” Trump said in his series of tweets, which credited the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The president added that Puerto Rico is “billions of dollars in debt to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with.”

His company tried to take over a golf course that was in trouble and, of course, didn't help at all and walked off with more money, and leaving more taxpayer debt.

Sure, you folks are all worried about your food, your clothing, your shelter, no power, and all the hospitals unable to treat the sick and the wounded, but let's remember what's really important: the debt to Wall Street. How are you going to service that? Maybe if you lot thought a little bit more about that and a little less about the basic necessities of life, we'd get something constructive accomplished.

Seriously,

Who the hell are his sources?

BTW, the FEMA which has been doing yeoman's duty during Harvey, Irma and Maria was rebuilt during the last administration after W let it deteriorate. Thanks, Obama!

is a gigantic load of crap and "must be dealt with". WTF??? What does that even mean and how is it even relevant at this point in time? People are starving and on the brink of dying. The man is a cretin and worse.
