CNN ran a string of DOTUS's comments, patting himself on

the back for his Puerto Rico response. Seriously, at least six phrases where he says how everyone is telling him that he's doing a great job getting help to PR.

All I could think about was how, many years ago, my three year ran up to me proud and excited, anxious for me to see his turd he managed to poop into the toilet.

The first thing that occurred to me was, "Who sharted out this word salad?" followed closely by "How motherfuckin' needy do you have to be to huff your own farts like that?" Practically no admission that the administration's response to Puerto Rico has been about seven days late and several million dollars short, coupled with the stop-the-presses news that Puerto Rico is an island. In the middle of water. That you can't just drive a truck to.

that Donald Trump never experienced his mother's praise, for turds or jumping off the diving board or bringing home a macaroni collage. His neediness is pathological.

who got praise for walking from his room to the dinner table or for anything, even destructive things. I know someone like that. He destroyed the neighbors property as a child and his mommy always thought it was so funny, look what he did! Look at his creation! Now he cannot live without someone, anyone, even someone he pays telling him all the time how good he is and he is insufferable to be around as he constantly talks only about himself. Sicko!

he was already showing the family what an asshole he was. The school was supposed to whip him into shape.

Kids who don't get what they need continue to demand it as adults. Maybe the guy you know needed his mom to set limits, so he kept doing things to try to get her to rein him in, and when she just laughed at his misbehavior, he couldn't outgrow it. IMO "spoiled" chidren are not kids who get everything they want; they're kids who never get what they really want--which is generally parental attention and approval--and so can never stop being needy and demanding.

I suspect that Donald Trump's mother was very withholding with affection and praise--Freud wrote that if you want your child to grow up to be a leader, praise his every step. In the 1950s there was a movement away from "coddling" children, not picking up crying babies, harsh toilet training, rigid feeding schedules, everything Dr. Spock rebelled against. I'll bet Trump's parents were subscribers to those theories.

That his minions provide for him twice a day. I have no doubt this petulant turd actually believes they're doing a great job.
