Seems he only wanted privacy for a limited period of time. How come?

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump Jr.'s Secret Service protection has been reactivated, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
The President's son had previously requested his protection be scaled back, seeking more privacy.

Two sources who spoke on condition of anonymity previously told CNN that the Secret Service strongly pushed back on his request, but said it was "demanded" by Trump Jr. himself.
The Secret Service detail has been restored to what it was before, the sources said.

(31,106 posts)Here is what bothers me: I expect these grifters, these con men, these liars, these criminals (the trump family and friends) to lie, steal and commit treason when it benefits them.
What I dont "expect" is for half the fucking country to allow it and support it.

(27,813 posts)... that Don Jr. was simply fed-up with being followed everywhere by the SS - and was later convinced, for his own safety and that of his family, to reinstate the protection.
That being said, we are all well past the point where we can't help but see something nefarious in everything these people do. And that's their own fault - not ours. They brought this constant suspicion upon themselves.
