Somebody is insane
With respect to trump’s statement about his response to Puerto Rico so far:
“This is a thing called the Atlantic Ocean. This is tough stuff.” (Yes, that is the whole thing. No, it’s not a typo.)
I read this statement on the heels of his other gem about how hard he works:
“All I do is work, and to be honest with you, that’s an important function of working.”
I don’t even know how to process these statements, I can’t get past the fact I’m not completely sure I understand what the fuck he is trying to say. When I talk about it I actually stutter because I just honestly don’t understand.
I feel like I’ve fallen through the looking glass, just on the other side of the rabbit hole and Alice just dosed me with some CIA-grade LSD while cramming peyote in my ears and hitting me squarely across the forehead with a football bat.
Either I’ve had a cognitive break with reality or he has but one of us needs to decide.
It’s only fair.
