Time to spread the horribleness of Roy Moore around and get our Dem in office

Senate candidate Roy Moore in 2005: 'Homosexual conduct should be illegal'

Moore has been a staunch opponent of LGBT rights throughout his career. Last September he was suspended from Alabama's Supreme Court for failing to comply with the Federal Supreme Court's ruling that legalized gay marriage nationwide. In 2014, Moore wrote letters to all 50 state governors calling on them to convene a constitutional convention to ban gay marriage.

CNN has also reported that Moore repeatedly appeared on a radio show hosted by a pastor who preaches the death penalty for homosexuality.

Later in the interview, when Press asked why the government should ban what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, Moore compared gay sex to bestiality.

1. Horrid man thinks he is god's representative on earth.

He'll hate his competition in the Senate.

2. We don't want him to get to the Senate. We want the Dem Challenger to get the seat

3. Careful...the inbreds down there will interpret Moore's...

...uncivilized behavior as all the more reason to vote for him. Bit of a catch-22.

4. They already have!

Voted to state Supreme Court twice and removed twice! Despite his awfulness and unfitness for the job, he has a staunch following in that state.

6. I know. I've given up on Alabama's voters.

Stupidity seems to be the rule, not the exception there.

7. It's not much better for your friends to the north!!

Native Tennessean here! As a kid/teenager, we had Al Gore and Jim Sasser as Senators and my rep was Bart Gordon. All Dems! The state was solidly for the Dems, but with time and the onslaught of the Christian Right/Tea Party, my state is no longer recognizable. It's frustratingly sad. The state I knew as a young man is no more...I moved home to a hotbed of right wing gibberish and it seems like Alabama is in the same boat. I have no clue how to reverse that trend.
