Call me crazy but I think trump will get a way out

Of his NFL war he started.

You know some of the other spineless owners are in touch with him. If he is talking with Jerry Jones and Goodell that charade the cowboys pulled last week could be trumps slimey way out.

Trump asks the owners suggest players kneel before or after the anthem.

Makes me sick to even try and think as trump would ick

if kneeling continues to be a big thing without conflicting with the national anthem, that could be great, but only if it keeps its original meaning, to call attention to black americans getting killed by the police.

unfortunately, my concern is that the kneeling is morphing into some vague "unity" thing, and the whole point is lost.

Since each new thing he comes with is just as outlandish as the last, none of them stands out.

Toss a bomb in your neighbor's garden, and there will be a big stink about it. Do it on an daily basis for 8 months, and no one will pay any attention any more.

There really isn't any reason for them to be out there, other than jingoistic "patriotism."

I'm sure the coaches and players would rather have the extra few minutes in the locker for last minute prep. After all, they are not a military unit.
