Trump will be selling old Republican idea: trickle-down job growth......

Trump’s tax cut plan sounds a lot like what has been known since the days of Ronald Reagan as “trickle-down economics’’ — the idea that putting more money in the hands of those at the top will unleash a wave of economic growth and indirectly spur prosperity at all strata of society.

that was starved of capital... there might be some merit to trickle down.

But we don't. We have a consumer-driven economy... and we need to give consumers more money to buy stuff.

They will not create jobs with their tax cuts, they will put the money in their pockets. Demand creates jobs, not tax cuts.
