Here's my question about Russian trolls and the anthem/kneeling issue.

First, the source article: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-congress-cyber-russia/senator-says-russian-internet-trolls-stoked-nfl-debate-idUSKCN1C237J?feedType=RSS&feedName=politicsNews.

Next, my apologies if this has been discussed. I didn't see it.

Finally, my questions are: Did Trump make incendiary comments in Alabama that Russian provocateurs (I've decided "trolls" is far too neutral a term for them) ran with and Fox News amplified? Or was Trump a conspirator acting with others to come up with a divisive topic which he used to sow discord?

He may be a useful idiot or he may be aiding the enemy. How do we find out which it is? And, are there any other possibilities I've not considered?
