3. It's a toxic mix - crappy teams, high ticket prices, low income.

And now Trump may have turned his douchebag base against their teams. I'm sure that the owners are happy about this.

7. It's Getting Quite Expensive To Go To Any Major Sport Event These Days.....

Ticket prices are going through the roof. Many charge for parking. If you want to eat or drink at a game the price of food and refreshments have gone up. I guess if you treat yourself it's not so bad. But if you had to pay for a family of 4 - it starts getting too expensive. Many people would just like to watch on TV. After all you pay for cable - so you might as well take advantage of that.

Why drag yourself and your family downtown to the stadium, pay $30 or so for parking, cough up $150+ apiece to get in, and spend another $100 on refreshments for everyone, just for the privilege of sitting in the nosebleed section where you can hardly see a thing, when you could sit comfortably at home on your couch and watch the game on your big-screen TV while enjoying a cheap beer and a plate of nachos?

I would much rather be at a game. It makes it twice as much fun but we could go away for a weekend for what it costs to go to a game.

Food and drinks are better and much cheaper. You can follow multiple games at the same time and be with friends instead of violent drunks.

Cheapest seat average for most NFL teams: $60.

Parking at an LA Rams home game: $100

Yeah, it’s expensive.

And every game is available on TV for what, $50 a month?
