BREAKING: Former HHS Secretary Price Asks First Lady If He Can Have Those Dr. Seuss Books

WASHINGTON DC - Former HHS Secretary Tom Price contacted First Lady Melania Trump's office today, shortly after his resignation, and asked if the Dr. Seuss books that she had unsuccessfully attempted to donate to the Cambridgeport School Library were still available. A spokesperson for the first lady told CNN reporters that Price said "I have some free time on my hands now, and I sure wouldn't mind catching up on the good Doctor. I really love that one about the "Snitches." And the one about the guy who wouldn't eat ham on a train. Can I have them?"
Friends of former Secretary Price say that he is coping with downtime well. "He bought a fidget spinner, some of those pizza rolls that you can microwave, and he plans to binge watch all four seasons of "Saved By The Bell" on Hulu," said a source who wished to remain anonymous.
The First Lady's office reportedly rejected the former Secretary's request, informing him that even though the Library had declined to accept her offer, Ms. Trump would still prefer to get the books into the hands of deserving children.
Former Secretary Price did not return CNN's calls.
