Can the Senate deny Moore his seat..should he win ?

Based on his history of defiance of Federal laws.

In guess if that guy in Montana could assault someone and still be seated in the House, I suppose there are no circumstances a " Republican " be denied membership.

has never prevented any other elected senator from being seated. He's not under indictment or out of prison on parole, and I'm not sure even that would stop him.

And I think he'd have to do something like burn a cross on the steps of the capitol. Maybe not even that would do it.

Being a member is a formality. If the Senate wanted to reject someone they could swear them in and then hold a vote to remove.

Of course, they won't do it here.

He probably wouldn't even be the worst one of the bunch. With a few notable exceptions, pretty much the entire Republican Party thinks the same as Moore. (That's why he won)

But in the meantime, less try to make it a moot point and elect Doug Jones instead!
