The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

...Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They....

3. He seems to have a pre-manufactured excuse for any potential failure

And those excuses always lay the blame on Democrats.

His visit to Puerto Rico, on Tuesday, will be "very interesting", if he actually ends up going. I am half anticipating some sort of manufactured glitch.

6. Rachel Maddow had a piece on the Convention Center a couple of days ago

It's where all of the "officials" went to set up their "command center." She referred to all of the "neatly tucked-in polo shirts" and said that the local mayors were expected to go to the Convention Center to apply for aid in person.

So my guess is that if he goes at all, he'll go there, and his ass will be kissed and he'll have his photo op and then he'll come home and have a nice well-done steak with two scoops.

But I suspect that, with his "issues", cognitive and otherwise, it wouldn't make a bit of difference.

8. This is one of the worst comments Trump has made.

I'd like to see a group of Democratic Party leaders step up to a microphone today and offer a brutal, searing response to these heartless, divisive tweets. Their voices need to be louder, their leadership bolder.

Democratic leaders should offer rapid responses to Trump's hideous behavior, way more than a low-volume voice here and there. Trump needs to be stopped.

Hope he's enjoying his golf resort getaway this weekend.

9. At least George W. Bush ate McCain's birthday cake and strummed the guitar and pretended to care.

There was a "Miss George W. Bush yet" thread yesterday, and no...I don't miss him.

But at least he pretended to go through the motions, well after disaster struck, and when he got nailed on his lack of response, he heard it loud and clear.

With Trump, if he is not showered with praise for his lack of effort, he lashes out, as he's done here.

This really is unprecedented...Trump tweeting insults from his golf course while people are terrified.

Fake News CNN and NBC are going out of their way to disparage our great First Responders as a way to "get Trump." Not fair to FR or effort!

The Fake News Networks are working overtime in Puerto Rico doing their best to take the spirit away from our soldiers and first R's. Shame!

I just hope the Democrats and the San Juan mayor are more articulate than I.
