(58,785 posts)Sure, he's incapable of caring about the people of Puerto Rico, but he also knows nothing about them or what should or can be done for them, only what his handlers are telling him.
Like so many of the things that come out of his mouth, the "they want everything done for them" is a clear revelation of what he's being told by those evil people.

(85,996 posts)...Trump is projecting his OWN antipathy for non-whites in his string of attacks on prominent black Americans, and his reflexive obsession with labeling non-whites as burdens, or threats, or unpatriotic.
Moreover, he's willfully ignorant of Puerto Ricans' right to expect equal treatment as U.S. citizens; albeit without the benefits of representation, but with all of the sacrifice and contribution to our national government; in taxes paid and military service, for example. To expect that he needs to be informed about these things is beyond the pale.
Trump is determined to relegate non whites to second-class citizenship, enabling his bigotry by denigrating non-whites as undeserving or unworthy.
