Taking A Knee is a powerful way to protest.

Silently staring while in a position that makes your disgust clear. Non threatening, low body position makes it hard for blackblock fuckery and can't be mislabeled as scary out of control behavior by nervous law enforcement.

There is however something mildly threatening about the position... My hope it that when enough Americans take a knee, we will then stand up together, and shit will get real.

This thread may deteriorate into a lotta commentary about the appropriation and widening use of what began as a black American protest against brutality. IMO, a great idea is a great idea , and if it comes to represent something larger that's a good thing .
