No one should be surprised Trump attacked the mayor - she committed

The worst sin imaginable in his mind: she is a strong woman who dared to stand up to him and is getting better press coverage than he is.

I watched MSNBC almost all day yesterday and every program played a clip of her begging for help, showing the huge stack of binders FEMA required, near tears talking about her people dying.

I cried too...it was breaking my heart. Then the cynical part of me thought "this is good tv...this is the kinda of drama that gets ratings and news stations love to play. This is like a baby trapped in a well, miners in an underground collapsed mine...this is the shit tv producers live for. Which means it is going to be played over and over again, and compared to Trumps 'big water' comments is going to make Trump look bad". I knew then it was going to drive him crazy...esp since it was a strong woman making these statements.

Price was forced out not because Trump developed morals, it was because the Price news coverage was taking away from the NFL and other Trump bullshit stories. It took away from his attempts at lying about his tremendous efforts in Puerto Rico.

And now some woman...some woman of color!...dares to get better press coverage than trump? Of course he was going to lash out. I'm surprised it took so long and he only used the word nasty once.

he was screwing the American taxpayer for his own private comfort and luxuries, but because it made Comrade Casino, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, look like the republican a-hole he is.

Comrade Casino did not give a shit about the private jet charters and the squandering of our hard-earned tax dollars. He only cared that Price was making it obvious that the republican "Royalty" in Washington, especially the republican Gourmet Golf Goof, are soaking up gobs of our public tax money to pamper their own fat, lazy asses.

It's impossible for me to imagine how trite a person can be but his behaviour is so inhuman that I could call it trite. There's no thought or underlying reason, he's just superficial, naive and old boy misogynist.

It’s disappointing that instead of responding positively (hey this is unprecedented let’s send more help), he’s responding negatively (bash the messenger). It’s important to note who went personal first here.

In her speech she decried the current response as inadequate and held up by red tape. She appealed to “the President” for help to make sure he has the right people in charge. However she did not (from what I saw) personally disparage Trump or even directly criticize the administration as a whole.

I think she’s been strong and insistent but not confrontational. Trump’s response was really out of line.

which makes him look bad (that is all he sees - not that she is passionate because she cares for the people of her country) and that will always make him lash out

He is a petty little man

He's nowhere near done with his name-calling.
As this cornered rat-bastard feels the heat, more and more insults will be coming from his filthy mouth and disgusting 'tweets'.
You know what? I say let him continue. Let the entire world see how utterly despicable and absolutely unfit this sick fuck is.

Unless, of course, they offer him their bodies. They have to be the "most beautiful" women, though.

I bet he'll tweet about Carmen Yulin Cruz's looks (which I think are fine)

is there a link to the clip? I've looked for it and can't find it.

(I not only don't have cable, but the conversion from analog to digital a few years ago wiped out our ability to get TV in any reliable fashion . . . occasionally, in winter when the trees have lost their leaves, after 11 PM we can get one of the major stations.)

She is Latina, or hispanic, but I don't think she is a PoC.
