'Not enough' troops, equipment in Puerto Rico, says... GENERAL IN CHARGE OF RELIEF !!!

Benedict Donald is lying again as usual, the 3 star general on the ground is saying there's not enough resources.

But we can expect Benedict Donald denigrates Americans and praises America's adversaries ... nothing new.

The Defense Department has not sent enough troops and vehicles to hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico but will soon send more, according to the three-star general newly in charge of coordinating the military response.

Army Lt. Gen. Jeff Buchanan said Friday morning that the Pentagon has 10,000 people helping with the response after Hurricanes Irma and Maria ripped through Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands earlier this month.

“We're certainly bringing in more [troops]," Buchanan said on CNN’s “New Day.”

"For example, on the military side, we're bringing in both Air Force, Navy, and Army medical capabilities in addition to aircraft, more helicopters. ... [But] it's not enough, and we're bringing more in.

He will blame everyone else but himself for his (lack of/delayed/indifferent) response.

Another sad truth is, the GOP does not care either.

It's beyond sickening.

People are suffering. People are dying.

This seems a decent article, though mostly discussing all we don't know. Reportedly PR hospital morgues are full, but at least partly because the procedures for processing bodies broke down. (USVI with only 100,000+ people, has reportedly moved past the desperation stage and into recovery stage, but I read that morgues there were full also and that at one point the curfew was lifted because people didn't have enough time to bury bodies. By relatives or what?) It's expected that total death counts among PR's 3.4 million, from Maria and societal breakdown, will at least be in the dozens and could rise into the hundreds.

at least as far as troops and vehicles are concerned. We know drivers are needed to transport supplies that are already there, as well as water, food, medical supplies and the vehicles and personnel to get them to the people.

Dump can stay home; he's not needed there. In fact, he'll just get in the way.

When the general on the ground is saying they don't have enough 11 days post hurricane there's a lack of leadership

But keep bashing the military effort, of people who are the best in the world at moving things like this and are doing the best they can, just because you really don't know what your talking about and it feels good to create a failure from unrealistic expectations and then blame Trump.
