So, let me get this straight: lots of white people in this country voted for tRump, because even though they live in relative luxury compared to most of the world, even though they hold a place of privilege in this society by virtue of being born white, not black, even though they never miss one of their (apparent) 8 meals a day, they feel that they are left out - victims of the American system - so they voted for the person who told them “I’m the only one who can make things better for you.”

Brown and black people living under water in Puerto Rico, with no water, food or fuel? According to our president, “They want everything done for them.”
