Looks like Trump's own Department of Defense is now a candidate for a "Fake News" rage tweet

The Pentagon said on Sunday that the situation in Puerto Rico is getting worse as water supplies dwindle, even as the Trump administration has gone into overdrive on its public relations effort to convince the world that it is not neglecting the beleaguered U.S. territory.

The Hill said that the Department of Defense released an urgent press bulletin stating that 45 percent of the island’s population are still without water.

“Forty-five percent of customers have access to drinking water. Ninety-five percent of customers remain without power; power has been restored to San Juan airport and marine terminals,” the statement said.

Trump and his cabinet members have insisted repeatedly that the federal effort to bring relief to the island is going well and “getting great reviews.” They have called people who disagree with them “politically motivated ingrates” and said that Puerto Ricans are too lazy to help themselves.

14. That's my reaction to people willing to believe he's a teetotaller.

He may be, but just because he makes that claim doesn't make it true. The man lies as easily as you and I breath. What would make this particular nugget stand out as the one time he speaks the truth?

7. He doesn't drink. He's adamant about it and has never had a drink.

His brother (Fred?) was an alcoholic and committed suicide. I guess alcoholism runs in the family.

13. You, and we, have no way to determine that that's true.

We certainly can't believe it on his say-so, since he lies so frequently.

His being adamant on any topic is more likely a sign that he's lying (see birtherism, see inauguration crowd size, see his supposed intelligence, see just about any of the BS he peddles forcefully).

He's maintained for many years that he doesn't drink. His older bro was an alcoholic, which I think he once said discouraged Trump from drinking. He was sent off to boarding school in his youth...a military school. Molesting girls, I'm sure, but boozing and smoking, no.

I believe he is a teetotaler. There are a lot of 'em around. He sells booze, though, so he's not against it, in principal.

I rarely drink, so I can relate. It's not my thing.

Maybe Trump SHOULD drink. It'd take the edge off.

President Trump, who doesn’t drink, appears to sip wine twice at UN reception

President Trump, who says he avoids drinking because of his late brother’s alcoholism, appeared to sip wine twice on Tuesday during a United Nations reception.

Trump took one sip from a wine glass filled with a maroon-colored drink after leading a toast to the “great, great potential” of the U.N. He immediately handed the glass to an aide as he took a seat.

Trump was also seen taking a sip after toasting with several people at his table.

It was not immediately clear if Trump was drinking wine, nor if he actually drank what was in his cup. A Trump spokeswoman did not return a request for comment.

We have an unfit person in office. He needs to be removed, for mental issues or whatever.
