Condolences are "sincere" or "heartfelt" - not WARM.

Another case of Mr. Tonedeaf not able to convey a single genuine human emotion. He probably hasn't figured out to make it all about him yet.

He tried to fake "sound" sympathetic. Pelosi's tweet was more dramatic to underscore the tragedy.

It may not be the most common phrasing, but it's not that unusual either. I saw it on cards and expressions of sympathy after the deaths of my parents and it didn't bother me then.

I'm much more concerned that we continue to do nothing in the this country to control access to guns like those used in this horrific event than in the way condolences are expressed.

for people who have passed due to a variety of reasons (illness, old age)... but not after what has amounted to the worst mass casualty incident in modern (i.e., not counting wars or past race riots, etc) U.S. history.

His tweet would be more like "see . . . Puerto Rico isn't so bad now, is it" or "the most tremendous, biggest shooting and it hasn't been a year I'm in office." Trump doesn't "do" condolences.

Because this is too sociopathic and lacking empathy? That there are people in the White House far worse?

Has anyone ever heard someone say this?

Who says something like that?

Warmest condolences?

The man is seriously ill and out of touch....I don't think he knows how to express emotion or even to understand how to communicate. Obviously he doesnt even read back his own words to himself and think about what exactly he is saying....

Yeah....for him this is warmest....
