was that when awful things happen, we really need a functional adult in the White House. There really is not one even in line at present.

when it comes to tragedy and we have the very worst that could have been elected (and his awful minions) fumbling through every incident.

4. And the GOP had blocked every one of his efforts on gun control

background checks, mental health screenings, even collecting data to measure the problem or assist law enforcement in tracing guns back to their origins.

Normally, I'm against "thoughts and prayers" from politicians, but in this case he has good thoughts and actually tried many times to change things for the better. I bet it must be frustrating to be blocked each time and then see another mass shooting.

When innocent children and teachers were gunned down and the survivors (including other children and their family members and school staff) traveled to D.C. to try their hardest to lobby for some sensible gun control... they were ignored, and summarily dismissed.

Just this past Friday, when Congressman and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise made a triumphant return to the chamber after a mass shooting where his internal organs and bones were ripped apart, and after literally being on his death bed just a few months before, did the GOP consider hearings on what might help to avoid something like that in the future? Of course not.

And after each of these instances, "we" (editorial) keep asking - "When is enough, enough?". Apparently it hasn't been "enough" yet.
