Pierce: Republicans Were So Busy Trying to Repeal Obamacare, They Ran Out the Clock on 9M Kids

There's only just so much outrage I can muster for one day, so I don't have it in me to cut and paste from the Charles Pierce's recap of the decision to allow CHIP funding to lapse. Just read it and weep.

dismantling was entirely purposeful.

2. I was so joyful when it got put into place

It seemed like a big step in the march to Medicare for all or single payer. Get the very young insured and then maybe lower the Medicare age. Little by little, step by step until we all enjoy the right to health care.

Getting kids insured was significant since it helps them enjoy a more productive adult future because of a healthy youth. And now this.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness appears to be getting whittled down to 2nd amendment rights.
