and "regular people" who just want to be entertained, or to be a place for guns enthusiasts.
Like many, I wondered how he managed to get so many guns through the hotel and to his room and my spouse commented that they have many gun shows there, so carrying all that guns would not be questioned. Would it?
So then I suggested that the hotels can set aside rooms for people to look their guns. Oh, no, spouse commented, people registering their guns? In a hotel? They will never go for it.
OK, so build lockers where everyone can lock his gun in private..
Perhaps, if tourism will decrease, someone will have the guts to set priorities. I am not holding my breath, though.

(838 posts)The SHOT Show is still on, as is a hunters convention the week after that. I doubt the casinos will risk pissing attendees off by demanding they check their guns when they check into their rooms.

We lived in Vegas from 2003-05. Never saw so many pickup trucks, and never saw so many gun racks on pickup trucks. The gun culture is very heavy in Vegas.

(21,506 posts)There was a short period where they tried to be family friendly and it failed miserably.
The point I am trying to make is Las Vegas already decided and family friendly did not win.
