Any decent American that is a member of the NRA should burn their member ship card and cancel

His Christmas present to me in 2012 (right after Sandy Hook) was cutting up his card.

6. I did that years ago

when I was still in competitive shooting. A lot of ranges make you buy the membership so that they can use the insurance but I was generally good enough that they'd grandfather me out.

Everyone there knew how much I despised that organization and I was surprised when I found out that I wasn't the only one either.
