Trump has nominated Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback as an ambassador-at-large for religious freedom

Kansas will get rid of an awful governor if Brownback is confirmed as ambassador, but the State Department will receive the unwelcome gift of an unfit diplomat.

Of course, that will only apply to the right religion.

And so long as you worship the right way.

Did I mention, the right way means that it is strictly as interpreted by the right interpreters of the right religion?

While you’re at it, make sure that your opinions align exactly with the right opinions that they tell you to freely choose.

Now we get Colyer, Sam Brownback plus. The guy who wants to be our next governor, will run against Kobach. I am certain he is just as bad but quite possibly more religious and certainly more anxious to foist it on all of us. I wish this was good news. I suppose he will stay really quiet and let our better legislature put things back in order so that he can get elected and then change everything back to where it is now with the addition of required church attendance or some other such wonderful RWNJ unconstitutional edict that we will have to live with until we find people with the guts to stop it and then elect them.

We have a chance here to really change things. Will it happen? Not sure. If it doesn't we will head right back into the crap and muck of trickle down BS that we are trying to come out of now.

I should probably not post after drinking and watching the news.

He should nominate Ted Nugent as Ambassador at large for disarmament talks
Sarah Palin as Ambassador at large for Education
Wayne LaPierre as Ambassador at large for preventing firearms proliferation
Louie Gohmert as Ambassador at large for Latin America
and.....
Jeff Sessions for Attorney General. Oh, wait. Never mind on that last one.
