Trump bragged to reporters that people of Puerto Rico appreciated him being there and that he was the first president in history to make such a visit when he was the tenth.

Admittedly, his something like this description of the visit is vague. It could mean virtually anything, but it appears that Trump believes that he is the first president to visit Puerto Rico.

Trump is wrong. He isn’t the first president to visit Puerto Rico. He isn’t even the ninth.

Teddy Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Barack Obama all made official visits before Trump. Dwight Eisenhower, Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, and Gerald Ford all made unofficial visits to Puerto Rico

Trump did make history in one respect. He has demonstrated that he is the most ignorant person to ever serve as president.

16. Just said to my husband today that tRump will go down in history

as the absolutely worst President in our nation’s history. He is a disgrace for many reasons but also a complete ZERO as a human being. I try to remind myself that he is a sick man, afflicted with an officially recognized mental illness. His narcissism has destroyed his life so that few will ever give him the accolades he believes he is due. Yes, he has an opulent lifestyle that few will ever know, but it is a fact he got it by deceit, by lying and cheating. Nothing to be proud about.

Now that he is a President, his every word, his tweets, speeches, press conferences are all part of the historical record. He has revealed himself to be a man of limited intellect, inability to control his mouth and obsessed with himself. He has bumbled his way through one thing after another. We know who he is. He cheated to get the job and denies it. He lies every day and denies it. But we know the truth. He is unfit for the job and the sooner he is gone, the better off we will be.

History won’t be kind to him. And that will be the hardest blow for him. His crowning achievement will be forever tainted and he has only himself to blame.

I do hope with enough Democrats in the know that they will see to it that the information reaches us one way or another. A ton of information has already been leaked or ferreted out by journalists so we KNOW something went haywire in the last election.
