It looks like he signed into that room with the gf's ID and no one cared because they knew him.

He had her ID while she traveled out of the country?

(82,849 posts)This past year or so, we've heard all about these mythical white working class voters who cast their ballots for Donald Trump because of their economic insecurity and stuff. Here's a wealthy white guy, presumably not all worried about his financial situation, raining death down on an unsuspecting crowd, and we flat don't know what to do with him. There's no pigeon hole he fits in. It's almost as if these artificial media constructs are created to sell a narrative that may or may not have any basis in reality. Huh.
The problem is that the profile of a terrorist was created to drive fear, perpetuate racism and hate the 'other'.
Meanwhile the white male literally gets away with murder.
