Maybe we need a national strike to force congress to enact some sensible firearms laws

Our political power can be gerrymandered or suppressed, but our economic power is still viable and strong. What if we decided to not go to work one day and cripple the country economically. Maybe that would motivate congress to act.

Now, I understand that most people cannot risk losing their jobs. I get that. So, as an alternative, we can have a national consumer strike. If everyone in the nation decided not to buy anything until sensible gun laws are enacted, that too would send a message.
