Newsweek cover asks: "Does God believe in Trump?"

?itok=9BhgySlk

The cover story, “Does God believe in Trump?,” tackles the president’s personal religious history and alliance with white Evangelicals, a demographic that helped Trump win the 2016 election.

In the piece, Nina Burleigh examines Trump’s relationship with various religious groups, federal policies relating to religion and the pious figures who counsel him.

The Newsweek story takes direct aim at Trump’s record as president, seeming to compare him to Satan based on the number of lies he has told during his time in office.

“Millions of white conservative fundamentalists who take the Bible literally are awaiting the fulfillment of its prophesy about the apocalypse — the end of days — which will feature the rise of an evil force that will briefly rule the world,” the piece reads. “He goes by many names, among them the Prince of Lies.”

in which he said he did not believe in forgiveness or repentance, that is all in keeping with being a sociopath.

I wonder, if during that time the fundie right was laying hands on Donnie and praying, anyone took a peek under the power mullet to see if he had the mark of beast.

and what he gains from it.

That's it.

That's all.

No need to look deeper - it ain't deep to begin with.

If claiming to believe in the flying purple people eater brought accolades and praise, Trump would claim to be the son of the flying purple people eater.

They religious right knows he is a piece of shit who forces women to have abortions, cheats on his wives, but they also know he will appoint justices that will take away rights from women and that is what they want.

Same reason why Rep Murphy didnt need to resign.
