Has Anyone Else Noticed the Huge Drop in Trump's Numbers in the Past Few Days?

In the past 5 days or so, the combined numbers for the Moron in Chief have gone from a net minus 14.1 to a net minus 19.2 in 538's combined polling. That includes the Rasmussen, Trump leaning poll that has the Moron at 43%.

I think that Trump fatigue is setting in and that Republicans who at least "think" they're sane and moving away from him.

In addition, many rural Americans are not seeing the changes Trump promised and are starting to realize they were conned. Not all of them, yet, but his strength, even in these demographics, is starting to wane.

2. His voters were disgruntled and resentful: It's impossible to avoid being the next dartboard for the

them: They want everything without paying for it, or tolerating the implications. So, it seems like it's 100% inevitable that they'll eventurally turn on the idiot.

4. Problem is, many of the disgruntled want more people deported, bigger budget cuts

to essential programs, repeal of ACA, nuking Iran and NK, and worse. This is not necessarily a positive sign.

15. You're talking about the one-percenters

They're rich enough to hire their own lobbyists and PR people.

Everybody else is poor, scared, disgusted and getting impatient. OK I know some of his supporters are racists and white supremacists, too. But they're nowhere near as verbal as they were a year ago. They're starting to figure Cheeto's game-plan out, I think.

say that Donald Trump is planning to do great things with healthcare. As long as there is Fox News and Limbaugh there are misinformed people, even if they are poor.

19. They're brainwashed by Fox, Limbaugh

Unless we break through that bubble, the country will swirl farther down the toilet.

We all should tell our friends and family that Fox and Limbaugh are propaganda and they must stop watching, if they care about the country. Only personal interactions can convey that message - that GOP billionaires and ratings-chasers tell lies to make money and get votes for GOP billionaires.

29. Well sure

Who do you think has been paying Rush Limbaugh all these years? The guy is worth over $500 million and I'll guarantee you he didn't make that on a radio DJ salary. Most of his listeners don't even have $500.

5. I wish this was true, but I have my doubts

Undoubtedly he will hold on to his hard-core base, no matter what.

I live in a rural area in the South, and the vast majority are Trump fans.

Their gripe is with the REPUBLICANS in Congress, not Trump. They still view Trump as the outsider trying to bring their values and a businessman's acumen to Washington. They see McConnell, Ryan & Co. as traitors to their beliefs and their cause.

My mind goes numb when I hear them talk among themselves. They are blind to the truth.

6. Not Going To Go Much Lower

There is a varied core of roughly 30% who will support and stand by Drumpf NO MATTER WHAT.

Seriously, if Drumpf went to 5th Ave. and started shooting people, 30% will call it "fake news," and stand by their guy.

If he is still fucking up by the numbers by the midterms, the GOP will have to decide if they want to swirl the bowl with Trump.

10. Yes, I noticed a drop.

I wouldn't call it a huge one, yet. The graph bounces around a lot. Lets see if it continues.

I follow the likely/registered voter one closely. It seems a little different than the graph of all polls.

53/41.5 (-11.5) September 24th and 55.3/40.0 (-15.3)today. A much bigger spread was back in early August 57.6/36.3 with a -21.3. I'll cheer when I see that again. I am still astounded that 40% can approve of him.

fivethirtyeight.com gives Rasmussen a lower weight in their averages, so its effect is reduced.

I haven't seen the effing moron mention a poll in a long while. It's ratings isn't it? He values ratings bigly.

21. I truly believe is that Trumps numbers will go as low as Nixon..but much quicker, perhaps lower.

By the end of the first year, Trump will be in the 20s, maybe 27 or 8..or lower...Why? We all found out that Nixon was a big liar, but it took 6 years...Trumps true nature is known now. Some do not believe that he is as bad as he is. But most, yes most. (75 percent) will come around to see Trump for what he really is. And that 25 percent, would never believe the truth. But the rest of us, well we will al see the truth..yes all Trump will thought of as the most incompetent president, ever. Like we see him now, but most will come to see it. That is the truth.

If they'd thought of what Trump and the Republicans want to do to Medicare and the subsidies that keep so many rural hospitals open, they'd be trembling in their boots.

Plus most of his big legislative pushes have involved things like taking health care away from Americans and tax cuts for the rich. Some of the populists who voted for him thinking he was some champion of the working man/woman are now starting to see how they were duped.

37. As a whole the DNC's poll numbers ain't exactly much better

so how do we capitalize on it? We've spent 10 months ranting about Russia and pushing for impeachment pipedreams that will never, ever happen. It lost us most of the national special elections. Whether we think Russia helped Trump or not is irrelevant. Russia is a losing issue. It won't win unaffiliated voters.

Maybe we should, and here are some amazing thoughts,

Say nothing about Russia and talk about the things that actually affect people day to day. Let me offer one example.

Trump is trying to make it harder to sue nursing homes for beating up residents. Big issue in Florida.

http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/353876-house-democrats-plead-for-right-of-residents-to-sue-nursing-homes

Yet no Maddow stories on that. DNC should be posting pictures of scummy nursing homes all over the media. TV ads, billboards, twitter with a big ass caption: "TRUMP IS ENABLING THIS!" Especially in Florida.
