(3,166 posts)The way these people twist themselves into knots to justify everything that he does, when if a Democrat had done 1/50th of the stuff, they would be close to breaking out the pitchforks. I have a few nutjob FB friends, and while I have unfollowed them so as to not see their postings, every now and then I will click on their pages just to see what they're posting. When I see the memes they share,and all the "Pray for Our President" nonsense, I just shake my head and wonder HOW they can be so blind. Trump is about the furthest thing from a religious man that has ever existed. If Pence was Prez, I could at least understand them believing that he's a religious man - he's made no secret of that fact. If Trump has ever really been to church, I'll eat my sneakers.
In all of this Weinstein stuff, at least when they criticize Dems for taking his money, at least we can say, "Well, we didn't elect him as President of the United States." That's the difference - Democrats have universally condemned Weinstein, while the Republicans have enabled the Trumpster.

(5,603 posts)Hitler claimed at least a dozen times that he was doing God's will. And millions worshipped him. I don't know how you can get any more twisted that that, and it looks like that's where we're going. I'm claiming an exemption to Godwin's law here.
