Why is the media not covering what just happened to the CHIP program? They just let it die

on the vine.

You have to be a heartless SOB (45) and despicable people (GOP) to allow this to happen.

I think this is just more budget brinkmanship by heartless GOPers, but they do need to finish the bill within the next month or so.

It is about grandstanding and optics to them. They know that if CHIP was not properly funded, a lot of their voters in red states would suffer. Trump is making noises about effectively defunding the ACA, but I promise you that the GOP will work with Dems to find a workaround. Why, lots of their voter suffer badly if they don't. I see one guy sometime, rabid GOP and Trump voter. Looks like he is on SSI and Medicaid. The guy looks like he needs both programs. I see other GOP and Trump voters that are just as bad off as the rabid Trump guy.

Leadership in order to shift blame to the Democratic Party. If you have been paying attention to Cable News, the Nuances have already started.
