2018 US House and Senate Election-Democrats will regain control of the US House and 50-50 US Senate.

US House- 3 Democratic held US House seats are highly vulnerable.

Why else would they be so unconcerned about Trump damaging their chances of retaining the majority?

Some of those House seats were won by the R by 15-22% in the 2016 election, that is a huge deficit to overcome in two years time. A sweep like that would be epic, highly unlikely the way the districts are gerrymandered though.

projections this far out of the 2016 election. It's like trying to tell me exactly what the weather will be like one month from now, there's too many variables that could go a multitude of ways.

Talking back the house is very doable. I can't trust the polls because many republicans will be so upset that they won't go to vote. The dream is the senate, we need the majority so that in case a supreme court justice dies Trump does not appoint someone to far right. Actually, if we get the majority he won't be able to appoint anyone because Schumer could do the same Mcconell did to Garland.
