General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe media seems almost giddy with reporting on Dems being divided. It's our fault if we allow them
to get away with this. This in no way should be a big story that gets tractions to our detriment. Democrats on the air must be out there refuting these lame meme's that the media is pumping every day. We need spokesmen out there to refute these lame and mostly untrue talking points that the media is promoting just like they did Hillary's e-mails. Chris Jensen's latest spot on MSNBC was sickening.
The message that Democrats are putting out there is getting rolled over by the media, even MSNBC, as they rolled over Hillary's platform and plans during 2016.
That is way we must get out there and go around the media to the people, to the Town Halls, to the state and local meetings, Council meetings. The media is almost refuting what the Democrats are telling them they are doing. Instead of covering the Democratic actions they are refuting them. Here we go again!

BTW, they keep reporting this bullshit because you keep watching. When morning joe does segments like this I just change the channel. Try it. They'll hate it.

It's what gave us Trump.

I don't want Ds to waste time fighting Republicans Spams of fake news and lies.
Ds and (our other elected who always vote with D party) should always keep on topic and be honest to all Americans in interviews.

Proud Liberal Dem
(25,005 posts)but they're nowhere near as bad as Republicans nor as bad as some people try to make them out to be IMHO. There are some left-wing groups like Justice Democrats and Our Revolution making some noise but they don't *seem* to be gaining the kind of traction that would seriously threaten us so far as far as I can tell. Democrats- even the much reviled "Blue Dogs"- have hung together pretty well in Congress during the entire Trump fiasco so far and Republicans have no substantial legislative accomplishments, which is even more pathetic considering that they haven't even needed Democrats on their ACA repeal votes.
