Why doesn't the media ask about how Mitch and GOP obstructed Obama nominations on every turn?

Why don't they ask why Mitch said his only job was to see that Obama was a one term President and worked to obstruct Obama on every turn. Mitch just said today that the GOP main purpose or job was to win elections. WTF, i thought the main job of Congress to work for the safety, security, and economic benefit of the citizens. They just admitted everything they do is all about them and their jobs and power not about governing. Yet the media said nothing about that at all.

1. My take?

Trump put himself out there front and center with a big bull's-eye on his chest. Here I am, come at me, and what did the media do? Ignored the important parts and let him slide on questions that made him in the least bit uncomfortable. The mainstream media, with few exceptions, are rather pathetic, and even those few exceptions will not push the envelope as far as it needs to be pushed. I would like for him to stand and take questions for 45 minutes from the likes of Keith Olberman, who, armed with facts would not be afraid to actually use them. drump was beaming when he first came out for the news conference, and he was beaming when he left the news conference. That should tell you all you need to know about our "media".
