It would be best for those who regret having voted for Trump...
to learn to forgive themselves;
because, as each dark day passes, I find it more and more difficult to forgive them.

2. His lies, bigotry, ignorance and vile character were on full display on the campaign.
You couldn’t miss it even if you were half-asleep. His voters championed all of these faults. Ultimately, they are exactly what is wrong with America.

3. Are you seriously seeing some who express regret for having voted for Trump?
It's a serious question. I live in south Texas, and I haven't run across anyone yet who will admit to having voted for Trump and now say they regret it. Most are still ardent Trump supporter dumbasses.

4. I know a few who regret voting for him.
They only made this decision when it became apparent that they were PERSONALLY going to be affected by his horrible policies. Before then, they didn't give a shit.
Honestly, I think they were rooting for him to hurt other people . . . black, brown, women and LGBT. Typical right-wing sociopaths! |

5. Yes, you hit the nail on the head.
Something has to affect Trump voters/supporters personally and negatively before they will understand what others can understand by being able to empathize.
