My theory on what mueller is doing. Manafort vs gates. Who wants to die in prison?

I bet he has 1 plea deal for whoever wants to not die in prison. The fact manafort also has a lot of trouble in new york and cant be pardoned is genius. One of them will talk. They are both up right now thinking who is going to be the one to do it first.

I actually think they'll both take a deal. Manafort has no loyalty to Trump (or anyone), and he actually has to worry about, you know, the Particular Putin Process for dealing with those who fall out of favor. He could go into witness protection rather than taking his chances in prison. Gates has a young family, and again, no loyalty to Trump. If he'd get as good a deal as Papadop-- minimal jail, minimal fine-- why shouldn't he go for it? It's not like there's any principle involved here.
I don't think very many people are going to fall on their sword for Trump.

Which isn’t a knock on anyone, but an indication that Gates can only lose — UNLESS he plays ball. He’s no use to the mob’s laundry anymore, so no more 6% off the top.

He was appointed a public defender yesterday. I find that shocking in itself but more importantly, he got blindsided. I think he's the most likely to plea out.

Someone that runs in his circles should have at least two on retainer, regardless of affiliation. He's either dumb or playing dumb.
