Of the politicial parties turned the other eye and engaged in treason. Rethugs control everything and I have serious doubts they will admit they are traitors to our country.

And sadly half our country is too stupid to realize we were attacked like 9-11. Russia wants to destabilize the US and take over the world. Stalin’s revenge.

Our system has shown its weaknesses that are there to be exploited. There will be more Trumps, only smarter and sneakier.

as strong as the institutions the framers built.

they have already corrupted the supreme court and much of the federal judiciary, they have corrupted the house and many state legislatures through gerrymandering, and they have corrupted the electoral process through voter suppression, foreign influence, and money.

they likely will corrupt the rule of law and the impeachment mechanism soon as well.

a true constitutional crisis isn't when you have to invoke an obscure process in the constitution. rather, it's when the constitution and its intent become little more than paperwork as the real power lies outside the design of the institutions the constitution created.

if the real power is in the republican party and the presidency, congress, and the supreme court are merely tools for the party, then the constitution is little more than a piece of paper.

I think they are now on a "let's ride out trumps term and see what we can get" after that we won't support him if he chooses to run in 20

But if democrats win big in 18 they may turn on trump as far as impeachment.
