Trump Nominee Sam Clovis Has Turned - Testified days before Papadopoulos's guilty plea was unsealed

Last edited Tue Oct 31, 2017, 07:45 PM - Edit history (2)

Politico reports:

Sam Clovis, President Donald Trump’s controversial nominee to be the Agriculture Department’s chief scientist, has been “a fully cooperative witness” in the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, Senate Agriculture Chairman Pat Roberts told POLITICO.

Clovis, a former co-chair and policy adviser to Trump’s campaign, knew that another campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, was talking to Russians, according to news reports based on documents released Monday as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

Clovis’ nomination to the top scientific job at the Agriculture Department has already drawn significant opposition from Democrats and scientists who have raised concerns about his climate-change skepticism, his credentials and his history of making disparaging statements about blacks, women, LGBT individuals and others. But there’s been no public opposition from Republicans, and Roberts said he plans to continue with a planned Nov. 9 confirmation hearing.

The guy is a racist, homophobe, misogynist, anti-science idiot. What kind of witness will he make? Maybe he can appear as a character witness for Trump.

And who does Sessions answer to?

The standard under which an Attorney General or acting Attorney General (Rosenstein) to fire a special prosecutor is “for misconduct, dereliction of duty, incapacity, conflict of interest, or for other good cause, including violation of Departmental policies.”

http://www.factcheck.org/2017/06/can-trump-fire-mueller/

Could any Trump surrogate BS about Mueller that way? Maybe to the Deplorable base but not to mainstream America.

and a myriad of other issues. a few hundred think tank putin trolled blowhards on 1500 radio stations are what matters.

limbuagh has been explaining to the trump base that mueller is working for the dems, laying the groundwork support from the base for the firing.

the dossier was made up, the evidence is made up, mueller is part of the clinton obama deep state, and there are a lot of commies around - that is the tone blasting from 1500 radio stations 15 hrs a day and the left ignores it.

that is why truth and facts are irrelevant. the talk radio gods and fox will keep the base enraged enough to keep the republican reps enabled and intimidated enough to help trump, force compromise from the dems, and NOT do the right thing.

all because the left ignores talk radio.

trump may be getting advice not to fire mueller but he will anyway because he'll hear the deluded 20% base screaming for it via limbaugh and fox. then it will all take longer and the nuts will get nuttier and the dems will feel like they have to deal.

as long as the left/dems ignore talk radio it's all fucked.

When Trump has Mueller fired, we will be out in the streets and we will STAY there. Not just the left, but independents as well. Congress will not be able to look the other way because we will tie up their phones, block their offices, do whatever we have to to prevent business as usual.

Not saying you don't have a point; I'm all for re-instating the Fairness Doctrine, which really needs to be a main priority in any future Dem administration. But there are other means we have at our disposal now to have our voices heard.

According to a Kansas Koch Republican leader, he was cooperative with the private Republican Senate hearings, which is worth precisely nothing.

We know he was called to say things in front of the GJ, but the Mueller team has had zero leaks. He might have plead the Fifth the entire time, he might have squealed, he might have had amnesia, no one knows. The Politico article doesn’t even touch on it.

There are other people on the Internet(s), however, that can do a good job explaining of how/Why Clovis is so important. He’s one of the three living people that we know of that can prove Trump traded leaks for dropped sanctions.

does that mean there's a chance that Clovis lied before the grand jury, not knowing what potential information was already out there? And due to that, he's now a cooperating witness, like George?

and according to sam nunberg he studied 1000s of hours of talk radio in '14 and reported to trump.

this is the talk radio president and it was probably putin's guys who told him to do that so they could coordinate trolling and piggyback decades of anti hillary bullshit.

yet dems ignore talk radio and don't even poll for it

Republican Senator Roberts has said that he "“a fully cooperative witness”.

Coming from a Republican Senator that doesn't mean that he has pled guilty and is cooperating with Mueller, it is just PR spin from Roberts, who at the time that he made the statement, was still trying to pimp Clovis to a senior job in Agriculture.

We shouldn't consider anybody has "flipped" until we see the guilty plea unveiled in court ala Papadopoulos.
