probably do not celebrate Halloween (and thus probably do not want Halloween candy) or were either too sick to go out or they had terrible weather and were not able to go out. 6 years ago, Southern New England was hit was a freak blizzard a few days before Halloween and with power out for much of the state and power lines down around town, Halloween was postponed for a week, and even then, it was not quite the same.

So, I would think it would be rather generous to give out some of your candy to kids that were too sick to go out, as I'm assuming if Trump Jr was able to go out, local kids did not have terrible weather.
