Donna Brazile called the Vermont Senator w/her "findings" but he was lowkey

She describes a phone call where she told Sanders of her findings but he sounded lowkey.

Which she took as him being magnanimous.

She called Bernie Sanders to tell him about all this, but first “I lit a candle in my living room and put on some gospel music. I wanted to center myself for what I knew would be an emotional phone call.” (In fact, it turned out not to be an emotional call. Apparently Bernie didn’t care much.)

He knows the truth, why isn't he setting the record straight? He damn well knows that too many will not believe it coming from anyone connected to the Hillary campaign, so why isn't he speaking up?

The Democratic Party, which he ostensibly supports, and in which he is a leader of outreach is being attacked, and he seems quite fine with it. Why? Doesn't he see how this is hurting our outreach? How can we present the Democratic Party as a sane, viable alternative to the shitshow that is the GOP for new and disaffected voters if we have fucking Donna Brazile and Liz Warren claiming we are rigging elections and put up sick candidates? On occasion, one finds oneself immersed in the literary throes of a piece of prose where there is very little in the way of advancement of the plot or development of the characters, but the pages are still filled with words. Since the esteemed author has allowed their writing to take a turn for the dry and dull, they gallantly attempt to overcompensate for the lack of stimulation by indulging in elaborate turns of phrase.

If we can ascertain the answer to that last question, then we'd be on the correct path to determining the motive of any person who failed to speak out when given the opportunity, thus allowing false information to be spread, and causing damage to the party as well as damaging personal reputations.

It's impossible for you to know what he did or didn't know... but for the sake of discussion, let's assume you're correct.

If he did know he was being "used" and chose to say nothing to correct the mistake... if he didn't challenge her intent or error... if he decided to let-it-ride knowing that there would be fallout that damaged the Democratic Party... then indeed he was "playing politics".
