Signing off - closing this account

Dear DU Community -
After reading of the tragedy in Denver at the opening of the new Batman movie, I am moved to immediately close this account. This screen name no longer has the semblance of any wit or usefulness at all. My heart and prayers go out to all who were so pointlessly shot, and their families. For you all, and for my country, I light a candle of respect and hope...Adios, BBB
