Fake News is not a new thing, despite being treated as such

As I have been digging into this Russiar thing, I have found that all dictators use fake news and misinformation as a means to confuse and brainwash their populations. The real news is failing us, by not exploring this and calling out Fox, Breitbart and other fake media for what it is, fantasy propaganda. Now we are facing the rise of the bots, it makes us extremely vulnerable to losing our base reality and falling into authoritarianism and ruin.
