So I've heard Trump say twice in the last month- these are mental health problems - regarding the Vegas shooter and yesterday's shooter. So does that mean he's willing to increase funding for mental health? I'm a mental health nurse and we sure could use the extra money. Just wondering.
By the way, I don't know if any of these men had mental health issues. From my experience, People with mental health issues are more likely to be victims of crime than perpetrators. I'll take the money though if he's willing to increase funding for mental health.

(4,516 posts)Millions of people have mental health issues and they don't shoot people.
Blaming mental health for the gunning down of 25 people in church means you don't have to blame guns because we will never be able to tell if a person with mental issues is a potential shooter and you can't open medical records to see who has mental health issues and you can't lock them up for what they hadn't already done, so it is "look at this shiny object over here" not at guns.
