American voters send a message 2017

The way I read it: people are sick and tired of republican lies, grift, and fail.

Americans are also embarrased and profoundly disturbed by the ongoingly deceitful, disgusting, and dangerous words and actions of the "republican family values" role model: Comrade Casino, the illegitimate republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief and his money-mob of darkside russian cronies.

are "anti-fake pres" and "Healthcare". We should run with those in 2018.

...and tie their republican opponents to the republican party. The whole KGOP party is corrupt, deceitful, and sold out. Honest, sensible, decent Americans know this ugly truth now for certain.

1. Healthcare
2. Guns
3. Taxes (a distant 3rd).

Northam didn’t mention tRump all that often but he did talk about healthcare...a lot. I don’t recall how much discussion there was about guns however, I think Gillespie’s big mistake was going so negative after Charlottesville. Turnout there was massive and resounding.

be for the Dems during midterms? Also, some people think that there shouldn't be one or two major issues for all the Dem candidates to apply to all the states, but more specific issues for each individual state.

But I think two national issues that could win with everyone is healthcare and taxes.

We saw the national outrage over the healthcare repeal effort. That’s a “winning” issue, IMO. If the Dems have a good tax plan to offer, that makes sense to low info voters, then I think they can get mileage out of that too.

Then whatever local issue is a hot button topic.

But the most important part is ground game, doesn’t matter how good the issues are, if they can’t turn out the vote, it just doesn’t matter.
